Explore our core features

Our user-friendly application allows you to easily engage with the content wherever you may be.

Short form content on foundation knowledge

Subjects are selected to be relevant across a wide range of professional fields. Though the content extends beyond career-focused purposes, tailored to aspiring polymaths everywhere.

Retrieval Practice

Research has consistently shown the benefits of active learning in the improvement of retention and recall. Polym utilizes this learning strategy in various forms, akin to audio flashcards, to strengthen long-term learning.

Spaced Repetition

Be prompted to review and practice essential subjects over strategic time intervals in order to maximize long-term retention of content. By spacing out study sessions, the method helps strengthen memory.

Interleaving

A learning strategy that involves mixing different topics or skills during study sessions rather than focusing on one at a time. Polym’s active learning sessions will mix related content from different courses in order to enhance the connections between subjects and present them in varied contexts.

Review key terms

In addition to short form courses that focus on concepts and examples, the app also provides term only courses. These courses are even more abbreviated than the full short form courses, allowing you to review key information without the fluff.

Technical and mathematical content tailored for audio

Written technical and mathematical content often does not translate well to audio. Polym addresses this head on by focusing on the subset of this material that is suitable for audio. Further, focusing on the more abstract concepts of these fields, in our opinion, strengthens one’s ability to apply the concepts.
